Clamoring Protests

For many people, if you want something from an online shop, such as Amazon, you can just order what you what and it will arrive in a few days. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we live on an island. Things are not that simple. Many people if they want something sipped internationally, have access to a shipping service. For us, we have a package shipped to Miami and then our company will deliver it here in a week or so. If the value of the item is more than 200$ we have to pay a 28% import tax. Recently, the president proposed a new bill that would add that 28% tax to all imported goods. Because this was going to inflate all prices on groceries, and many other things, the citizens began protesting. Every night at eight o’clock people would protest by banging a pot against something like a metal spoon! A week later the news was announced that the bill was not approved! All our protesting efforts had payed off!
